I TOTALLY get it!
Listen, I was a walking disaster when it came to relationships (including a marriage). I felt like I didn’t matter, I quietly resented my partners, never shared how I felt. I didn’t know my worth, I let men give me breadcrumbs, I abandoned myself for love, I cheated, I avoided conflict, I had casual relationships that left me with an STI. I was steeped in shame and fear, never believing I was truly deserving of love. And when I realised I was the common denominator in it all, I realised I needed help. I desired nothing more than a healthy relationship that I didn’t fck up and so I committed fully and wholeheartedly to myself and my own deep inner healing journey. I saw that the reality I was creating on the outside was a reflection of how I felt about myself on the inside, and so healing the relationship with myself became my top priority. It wasn’t easy, I dissolved so many layers of who I thought I needed to be in order to be loved, so I could come home to my most authentic self. But it was worth it, because here I stand today in a partnership where I feel like an absolute Goddess! I love myself, I speak my truth, and have opened my heart after years of having it slammed shut. These kind of soulmate relationships are possible for all of us, but the work isn’t going to FIND it out there, the work starts inwards.
My success has come from:
